The ongoing global Covid-19 pandemic has led to
enormous deaths not only in our country but worldwide. It has presented
unprecedented challenges in our economy. The effects of this pandemic on
different sectors like public health, employment, education, business, and
travel were really devastating. Some parts of our country are living in extreme
poverty. Our government lacks funds to support or extend help to all especially
the needy ones. We are like in warfighting without enough weapons.
To overcome the current crisis, we are experiencing
now, we must do our part to help our country. First, in order to contribute to
the betterment of our country, we must be healthy. We should follow health
protocols and the government must provide us affordable healthcare and
medicines. There should be enough funds allotted for health in order to survive this pandemic. To help in generating funds, let us support our industry by
patronizing our own products. We should tell our parents to invest their money
wisely and pay their taxes. We should also support small businesses to improve
this sector and cope up with the losses due to the closure of many companies
and business establishments. We students must be responsible also for our
studies. We will serve our country by applying the knowledge and skills we’ve
acquired in school. Since the election is approaching, we can tell our parents and
relatives to choose leaders who can lift up our country. They should vote for politicians who are not corrupt. On the other hand, since there are many people
who lost their jobs during this pandemic, we can encourage them to do online
selling. They can also support agriculture by planting vegetables and many more
in their uncultivated lands. They can raise livestock and poultry. There are
many ways to survive, we are just being responsible.
Therefore, to win this battle, we should fight with
all our might. We must never give up and do our best. We can show support to
our government by abiding by the laws for a peaceful society. We must unite as
one, hand in hand for a better Philippines. We should be stronger now, more
than ever.
